Nettlestead Place is a country house in Nettlestead, Kent, England. The house and its gatehouse are each separately Grade I listed buildings. Buildings. The construction of Nettlestead Place began c. 1250–60 with additions added c. 1438 and c. 1589 and in the 1920s.
Nettlestead Green, like its near neighbour Nettlestead, lies in the Medway valley southwest of Maidstone in Kent. It has a church and a 17th-century pub. The railway station for Yalding is actually closer to Nettlestead Green than to its own village, which lies on the opposite side of the River Medway .

Nettlestead. England, Kent. Introduction. Roydon Hall has an Elizabethan manor house with walled gardens which date from the early- to mid-16th century. A rose garden and an orchard were added in 1991. The walled garden to the east of the house is now an overgrown wild meadow with daffodils and fruit trees.
