William Jaggard (c. 1568 – November 1623) was an Elizabethan and Jacobean printer and publisher, best known for his connection with the texts of William Shakespeare, most notably the First Folio of Shakespeare's plays.

5 de dic. de 2013 · William Jaggard is well known as the printer of Shakespeare’s First Folio, along with his son Isaac. He was a member of the Stationers’ Company in London, but has got a name for unethical practices, at least in regard to Shakespeare.

In 1612, William Jaggard published a third edition of The Passionate Pilgrim. Like the second edition, the third edition asserts “By W. Shakespeare.” on its title page. Shakespeare Documented features all primary sources that document the life and career of William Shakespeare.
