This film is a reworking of Robbe-Grillet’s previous film L’Eden et après, using alternate takes and re-editing that has the order of scenes to be governed by “a throw of the dice.” Beautiful, interesting, incredible cinema.
N. a pris les dés... Directed by Alain Robbe-Grillet. N Took the Dice is essentially a reworking of Eden and After made possible by the roll of a dice (scenes from the 1970 film were combined with outtakes and additional footage in an aleatory way).
