Angie Dickinson is an actor who starred on Police Woman from 1974 to 1978. She has a long acting career that spans decades, including movies and TV shows like Rio Bravo, Ocean's 11, Dressed to Kill, Wild Palms, Sabrina and Pay It Forward. Her most recent roles were in the TV series Judging Amy in 2004 and Mending Fences in 2009.

Dickinson was married twice; first to football player Gene Dickinson from 1952-1960 then composer Burt Bacharach 1965-present day. She also dated Frank Sinatra on-and-off for years but he did not want to marry a movie star so he married Mia Farrow instead.
During their marriage with Burt Bacharach they welcomed daughter Nikki who was born three months premature weighing less than two pounds at birth she had vision loss diagnosed with Asperger syndrome but died at age 40 due to no coping skills taking her life .
The show "Police Women" was groundbreaking being the first drama hour show starring a woman cop which succeeded where other attempts failed making her proud of it .
