Qualifying classification
1. ^1 – Kevin Magnussenreceived a five-place grid penalty for exceeding his quota of power unit elements. 2. ^2 – Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettelset the identical lap time. Schumacher was classified ahead of Vettel as he set the lap earlier. 3. ^3 – Lance Stroll received a three-place grid penalty for causing a collision with Fernando Alonsoat the previous round.
Race classification
Notes 1. ^1– Includes one point for fastest lap. 2. ^2 – Daniel Ricciardo received a ten-second time penalty for causing a collision with Yuki Tsunoda.
