Goshen (/ ˈ ɡ oʊ ʃ ən / GOH-shən) is a city in and the county seat of Elkhart County, Indiana, United States. It is the smaller of the two principal cities of the Elkhart–Goshen Metropolitan Statistical Area, which in turn is part of the South Bend–Elkhart–Mishawaka Combined Statistical Area .

Located approximately 95 miles east of Chicago, Goshen is fast becoming a centre for cultural and visual arts all revolving around a historic downtown which embraces its past. In an area once inhabited by the Miami and Algonquin Indians, Goshen was established in 1831 and is the Elkhart County seat.
