April Michelle Bowlby (born July 30, 1980) is an American actress. She is known for portraying Kandi on the CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men" (2006-2015) and Stacy Barrett on "Drop Dead Diva" (2009-2014). Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California.
She studied ballet, French, and marine biology at Moorpark College, before deciding to pursue an acting career. She studied drama with Ivana Chubbuck before landing her first role in a major television series, "Kandi" in series Two and a Half Men (2003)), within weeks of her first Hollywood audition.
