6 de oct. de 2021 · The Wilma Mankiller Quarter is the third coin in the American Women Quarters™ Program. Wilma Mankiller was the first woman elected principal chief of the Cherokee Nation and an activist for Native American and women’s rights. She was born in the Cherokee Nation in 1945.

The Wilma Mankiller Quarter is the third quarter of the American Women Quarters Program ™. Wilma Pearl Mankiller was the first woman to serve as chief of the Cherokee Nation. Mankiller was born on November 18, 1945, and died on April 6, 2010.
