  2. Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts (formerly Northeast Catholic College, The College of Saint Mary Magdalen, and simply Magdalen College) was a private Catholic liberal arts college in Warner, New Hampshire.

  3. Having acquired a splendid house at Audley End, the Order of the Garter, and a peerage, he then re-founded Buckingham College as the College of St Mary Magdalene in 1542. The arms of Magdalene, with the motto Garde ta foy ('Keep faith'), and the crest showing the mythic wyvern, are derived from Audley.

  4. Magdalen College was founded in 1458 by William of Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester and Lord Chancellor of England [6] and named after St Mary Magdalene. The college succeeded a university hall called Magdalen Hall, founded by Waynflete in 1448, and from which the college drew most of its earliest scholars. [9]

  6. Magdalene College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n / MAWD-lin) is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel, in time coming to be known as Buckingham College, before being refounded in 1542 as the College of St Mary Magdalene.
