Godolphin (Arabic: جودولفين) is the Maktoum family's private Thoroughbred horseracing stable and was named in honour of the Godolphin Arabian, who came from the desert to become one of the three founding stallions of the modern Thoroughbred.
Godolphin trainers Saeed bin Suroor, Charlie Appleby and James Cummings lead a horseracing and breeding operation that involves around 1,000 horses worldwide, all of whom have access to five-star facilities that include private grass and all-weather gallops, swimming pools and equine spas.
Sponsored by Emirates Airline and racing in the famous Royal Blue silks, Godolphin strives for excellence, winning many of the world's major races along the way.
