    The Park and Woodland Walks are open each Wednesday to Sunday in line with the opening times of the Gardens.

    The Gardens will reopen each Wednesday to Sunday from 30th March 2024. The East Gardens will open on Wednesdays only.

    Old Palace tour dates vary and are subject to availability of the venue. Tickets and specific tour times can be booked via our Stable Yard Kiosk on arrival.

    Dogs and picnics are not permitted in the Gardens, with the exception of assistance dogs. Dogs are allowed in the Park.

    Flash photography and video recording is not permitted in Hatfield House. All commercial photography and recording in Hatfield Park requires prior permission.

    We now operate a cashless system at Ticket Kiosks. We have provided additional hand sanitisers around our entry and exit points and at the staircases within The House.   3. Hatfield House is a Grade I listed country house set in a large park, the Great Park, on the eastern side of the town of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. The present Jacobean house, a leading example of the prodigy house , was built in 1611 by Robert Cecil, 1st Earl of Salisbury and Chief Minister to King James I .
