The Trust promotes learning, research and education in the University of Cambridge, primarily by providing support to early career researchers and by making research grants to departments and programmes within the University and its constituent Colleges.

17 de jul. de 2023 · The School of Biological Sciences, in partnership with the Isaac Newton Trust, have launched a seed funding grants scheme to support scientists across the School to develop ambitious research programmes and facilitate new collaborations that address biological problems across scales and systems.
The Trust is one of only three nationally to be ranked as performing above average for student progress in the Department for Education rankings of fifty schools groups. The results cover the Inspiration Trust's four sixth forms at Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form, Jane Austen College, and The Hewett Academy in Norwich, and Thetford Academy.
