Leben und Karriere. Lynch arbeitete zuerst als Flugbegleiterin bei den Northwest Airlines. Dann besuchte sie die Guthrie Theater Drama School in Minneapolis und debütierte mit kleinen Rollen am Guthrie Theater. Später zog sie nach New York City und lernte Schauspiel bei Sanford Meisner.
