What is Khon? Khon is a form of masked theatre that depicts the story of Ramakien (รามเกียรติ์), a Thai epic based on the Hindu tale of Ramayana. Actors are divided into four categories: phra (lords), nang (ladies), yak (ogres), and ling (monkeys).
