Marylebone was an Ancient Parish formed to serve the manors (landholdings) of Lileston (in the west, which gives its name to modern Lisson Grove) and Tyburn in the east. The parish is likely to have been in place since at least the twelfth century and will have used the boundaries of the pre-existing manors.
Coordinates: 51°31′21″N 0°09′08″W. St Marylebone Parish Church is an Anglican church on the Marylebone Road in London. It was built to the designs of Thomas Hardwick in 1813–17. The present site is the third used by the parish for its church. The first was further south, near Oxford Street.

As with much of central London it consisted of fields and farms, with cities and towns grew in popularity and indeed population things began to change. The Marylebone we know today has many incredible stories, inspirational residents and inconic buildings.
