Matthias Erzberger (Buttenhausen, 20 de septiembre de 1875-Bad Griesbach, 26 de agosto de 1921) fue un escritor y político alemán del Partido de Centro y ministro de Finanzas de 1919 a 1920.
Politician. Matthias Erzberger (20 September 1875 – 26 August 1921) was a politician of the Catholic Centre Party, member of the Reichstag and minister of finance of Germany from 1919 to 1920. Erzberger was first elected to the Reichstag of the German Empire in 1903.

Heinrich Tillessen (27 November 1894 – 12 November 1984) was one of the assassins associated with the murder of Matthias Erzberger, former German minister of finance of the Centre Party who endorsed the treaty of Versailles. [1] . One of his brothers was Karl Tillessen, deputy of Hermann Ehrhardt in the Organisation Consul.
