Day 4 | 4Daagse. back to Routes. 45,000+ participants. More than 70 nationalities. The 106th edition. Challenge yourself! The Day of Cuijk. The fourth and final walking day brings you to the grand entry along Via Gladiola. This morning’s walk takes you through beautiful wetlands.
It is organised every year in Nijmegen, Netherlands in mid-July as a means of promoting sport and exercise. Participants walk 30 km (19 mi), 40 km (25 mi) or 50 km (31 mi) daily, depending on their age and gender and, on completion, receive a royally approved medal (Vierdaagsekruis).

The Nijmegen Four Days Marches, or 'The Walk of the World', is the largest multi-day walking event in the world in which 47,000 walkers take part every year. They come to Nijmegen from all over the world to walk for four days in Nijmegen and its beautiful surroundings.
La Vierdaagse de Nimega u, oficialmente, la Cuádruple Marcha Internacional de Nimega es un evento que se celebra cada año, y comienza siempre el tercer martes de julio. Es el mayor acontecimiento mundial en lo que a marchas se refiere, y es organizado por la KNBLO.
Las Marchas de los Cuatro Días de Nijmegen comienzan en Vierdaagseplein en Nijmegen. Durante el evento, se desplegarán autobuses desde la estación de tren de Nijmegen hasta el punto de partida de las Marchas de los Cuatro Días. Si quieres venir en coche, tienes que aparcar fuera de la ciudad.
