Subedar Major Satish Kumar (born 4 May 1989) is an Indian amateur boxer and a junior commissioned officer (JCO) of the Indian Army. He won the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games at Incheon in the super heavyweight category [3] and silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games .

30 de jul. de 2021 · Satish Kumar, a 32-year-old Indian Army veteran and amateur boxer from northern India, became the first Indian to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in the super heavyweight category.
Satish Kumar, 32, will be the underdog against the 27-year-old Bakhodir Jalolov, who has been at the top of the super heavyweight division for half a decade. The Uzbekistan boxer is a three-time Asian champion, two-time world medallist and an overwhelming favourite at Tokyo 2020.
