Susan Alexandra Weaver ( Manhattan, Nueva York, 8 de octubre de 1949), más conocida como Sigourney Weaver, es una actriz y productora estadounidense de cine, televisión y teatro.
Weaver rose to fame for starring as Ellen Ripley in Ridley Scott 's science fiction film Alien (1979). She reprised her role in James Cameron 's Aliens (1986), for which she received her first Academy Award nomination, and again in Alien 3 (1992) and Alien Resurrection (1997).
Sigourney Weaver is an American actress who began her career in the early 1970s by appearing in plays. Throughout her career, she has acted in nearly 40 stage productions.
