In 2017, he participated on the idol rebooting project show The Unit. He was eliminated in episode 15 and finished in 15th place.
Military service
On September 7, 2021 Studio Santa Claus Entertainment announced that Suwoong would be enlisting on September 9 as a social service worker. He was discharged on June 8, 2023.[citation needed]
