Timbertop is a full-time boarding, co-educational campus of Geelong Grammar School located near Mansfield, Victoria, Australia. A map of the Timbertop Campus, Merrijig, VIC. Established in 1953, by then Headmaster James Darling, Timbertop is compulsory for all year-nine students attending Geelong Grammar School.

When 34 teenage boys arrived at Timbertop at the beginning of February 1953 there were two units for students, but aside from one house, there were only tents for staff, no dining hall, no kitchen, no classrooms, no library, no telephone and no running water.
Charles was born in Buckingham Palace during the reign of his maternal grandfather, King George VI, and became heir apparent when his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, acceded to the throne in 1952. He was created Prince of Wales in 1958 and his investiture was held in 1969.
