The Westchester Academy for International Studies (WAIS) is a public charter school in the Spring Branch Independent School District in Houston, Texas. It serves grades 6–12 and is an International Baccalaureate continuum school, authorized for Middle Years, Career-related, and Diploma Programmes.
Choosing WAIS. All students at Westchester take a rigorous course of study. In grades 6-10, all students participate in the IB MYP. In addition to the MYP, many of these courses are also Pre-AP. With IB MYP and Pre-AP, there is typically a greater emphasis in writing, even in elective courses.

The IB program is quite beneficial for students from what i've heard, but a large hurdle for students. If attending this school you should be dedicated to the IB program whether it be CP or DP.
