“Decade” is ten years, “century” is one hundred, and “millennium” is one thousand. After that, we can use words like Epoch for one million years and “Aeon” for one billion years. There aren’t many official words for other year types like 10,000 years, but we do have some unofficial variations.

11 de ene. de 2016 · Era, age and epoch don't count as they just indicate a period of time (possibly quite long) that is not counted in years, but that is defined by of a characteristic of that period. (E.g the "Age of the Dinosaurs" was a fair number of millions of years, but not a specific number.)
