Summary of LSA Degree Requirements | University of Michigan Office of Undergraduate Admissions. To qualify for a degree from the College of Literature, Science and the Arts, a student must complete a minimum 120 credits with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (C). A minimum of 60 credits towards degree must be completed in residence.
