Dead Space 2 released worldwide in January 2011; it released in North America on January 25, in Australia on January 27, and in Europe on January 28. In German, the game was delayed into February as the country's rating laws required the friendly fire option be removed from the game, though otherwise its content was unchanged.
At the Electronic Arts Press Briefing during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Visceral Games, an EA studio today revealed the highly anticipated launch date for Dead Space 2. The action horror game will be in stores on January 25 in North America and January 28 in Europe.
