Harry Vanda (nacido como Johannes Herdrikus Jacob van dan Berg, 22 de marzo de 1946) es un músico, escritor y productor australiano de origen holandés. Vanda & Young were an Australian songwriting and producing duo composed of Harry Vanda and George Young. They performed as members of 1960s Australian rock group the Easybeats where Vanda was their lead guitarist and backing singer and Young was their rhythm guitarist and backing singer.
All five founder members were from families which had migrated to Australia from Europe: lead singer Stevie Wright and drummer Gordon "Snowy" Fleet were English-born; rhythm guitarist George Young was Scottish-born; lead guitarist Harry Vanda and bassist Dick Diamonde were Dutch-born.

11 de sept. de 1986 · In that time, Wright wrecked his marriage (he has a son, Nicholas, 13), turned down an offer to join Mott the Hoople and worked as a production manager for Albert Records, the Easybeats’ old label.
7 de mar. de 2023 · This chance meeting at the hostel brought together the Easybeats, comprising Stevie Wright, Dick Diamonde, Gordon Fleet, as well as Harry ‘Vanda’ (van den Berg) and George Young. The writing partnership, forever enshrined now as ‘Vanda & Young’, kicked off in the mid-Sixties, spawning hits for the Easybeats including “Friday on My Mind”, which reached Number One in Australia in 1966.
