Niskayuna High School is a public high school in Niskayuna, New York, United States, and is the only high school operated by the Niskayuna Central School District . History. Niskayuna High School opened in 1957 after the Board of Education recommended in 1954 that the district build its own high school.

Town of Niskayuna | Schenectady County. The Town of Niskayuna was created on March 7, 1809, with an original population of 681. The name of town was derived from early patents to Dutch settlers: Nis-ti-go-wo-ne or Co-nis-tig-i-one, both derived from the Mohawk language.
