Boat Club. The Boat Club is a really special part of Oriel College’s community and has become the dominant college rowing club in Oxford in the last 50 years. From fierce competition in bumps racing to casual rowing, OCBC brings together elite rowers, complete novices and everyone in between.

9 de jun. de 2022 · 9 June 2022. Rowers from Oriel’s 1969 and 1970’s crew returned to the river for an Exhibition Row on the final day of this year’s Summer Eights on Saturday 28th May. The event was arranged by Orielensis Peter Grove, who was also in the boat on the day.

Share: Yesterday marked the final day of the 2022 Summer Eights (Oxford University’s principal “bumping” race - a format in which rowing crews attempt to bump their boats into one another) and another victory for Oriel College, the most successful college boat club in Oxford during the last fifty years.
