Papa Emeritus II was the second frontman of Ghost during the Infestissumam and If You Have Ghost cycle from 2012-2015. Papa Emeritus II is the first Papa to have a mask custom-made for him, a process that would be repeated for all future Papas.

On 30 September 2017 during a show in Gothenburg, Papa Emeritus III was dragged off stage by two men, who then escorted a new character, Papa Emeritus 0, to the stage to introduce the band's next chapter.

About Papa Emeritus II. Papa Emeritus is the name taken by the characters who act as the vocalist and spiritual lead for the Swedish doom metal band Ghost (known in the US as “Ghost B.C.”).
In 2012, during a concert in the band's hometown of Linköping, Sweden, Papa Emeritus was seemingly retired and replaced by a new vocalist, Papa Emeritus II, but this was actually Forge in another costume. The band's second album, Infestissumam, was released in 2013.
