Our Mission. The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts prepares students to be college and career ready by providing a rigorous academic and creative experience that allows talented students to deeply explore artistic skill sets and scholarly disciplines in a diverse, inclusive and safe environment.
The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, commonly known as CAPA, is a magnet school in South Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the edge of the Christian Street Historic District. It is a part of the School District of Philadelphia.

Qualifying criteria include: As, Bs, and ONE C, 90% attendance or higher, and qualifying PSSA scores (minimum of 50% Math and 50% in ELA ). Students MUST have standardized test scores.
