  4. This is extremely unique because there are only 34 tide falls in the world and two in California, the other being McWay Falls in Big Sur. Enjoy stunning views of the pacific combined with varying terrain through forests, tall brush, and exposed dirt trails.

Just know that it can be a tiring hike after your long day of backpacking, so make sure to save enough energy for your hike. Prepare for your trek ahead of time by packing gloves, good water shoes, and a swimsuit.

  6. The hike to Beaver Falls is about 6 miles round trip from the Havasupai campground and takes about 5-6 hours to complete. To get there, you have to hike down to the base of Mooney Falls and then follow the Beaver Falls trail through the Grand Canyon for another 3 miles or so.
