Albert Street (Latvian: Alberta iela) is a street in central Riga known for its Art Nouveau buildings. It was built in 1901 and named after Bishop Albert, who founded Riga in 1201.
Alberta iela (en español: Calle Alberto) es una calle del centro de Riga, Letonia conocida por sus edificios modernistas. Fue construida en 1901 y nombrada en honor al Obispo Alberto, que fundó Riga en 1201.

29 de dic. de 2009 · Este paseo llevará nuestros pies a la calle Albert o Alberta Iela, una de las calles mas pintorescas de Riga. Se trazó a comienzos del siglo XX, 1900, y se llamó Albert en honor al fundador de la ciudad, el Obispo Albert.
La calle Alberta es el centro Art Nouveau de Riga, ya que los magníficos edificios históricos de este estilo se encuentran a lo largo de la arteria. Ocho de ellos han sido reconocidos como monumentos arquitectónicos de importancia estatal.
