Francis Lai (Niza, 26 de abril de 1932-París, 7 de noviembre de 2018) [1] fue un compositor francés especialista en crear música de bandas sonoras cinematográficas. Autor de Un hombre y una mujer y de Historia de amor (Love Story) con la que ganó el Oscar a la mejor banda sonora para película en 1970.
