Los McDonnell Douglas MD-80 (también llamados Boeing MD-80 debido la Fusión de McDonnell Douglas y Boeing desde 1997) son una serie de aviones de pasajeros de corto y medio alcance desarrollados por la empresa McDonnell Douglas entre 1979 y 2000. La serie incluye los modelos MD-81, MD-82, MD-83, MD-87 y MD-88.

El MD-82 -con tan sólo cinco años en México- se retiró para unirse también a Pegasus Aviation. Aumenta el retiro de MD-80. Un año más tarde, dejaron de ser tres para sumar más aeronaves de salida.
