I/O (stylised as i/o) is the tenth studio album by English singer-songwriter and musician Peter Gabriel, released on 1 December 2023 through Real World Records. It is Gabriel's first album of new original material in over 21 years since Up (2002), marking the longest gap between two studio albums in his solo career.

6 de abr. de 2023 · i/o is the fourth song from and title track of the forthcoming album by Peter Gabriel. This is the Bright-Side Mix by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. Released on the full moon, 6 April 2023. Written and produced by Peter Gabriel, i/o was primarily recorded at Real World Studios
i/o is another triumphant Peter Gabriel record. Box Set released 26 April, 2024. Presented in a beautiful foil-blocked, clamshell box, the deluxe version of i/o contains Bright-Side and Dark-Side stereo mixes in bespoke sleeves, across 4 pieces of black vinyl cut at 33rpm.
More than 20 years in the making, I/o is Peter Gabriel’s first album of new material since 2002’s Up. Whispers and rumours have speculated about its musical direction, about its songs, and about what they have to say. Not that there haven’t been tastes of what’s in store over the past few months.
