I got about 10 Zeddies hammered per run, and I've also cleared chapter 10. Try to use it when they're low health, take upgrades that benefit the hammer, and there's also a specific room that has quad damage + a cluster of them.

I write WHEN because my main weapon kills most before i get to the zeddies. Well yeah cant you just lower your weapon lvl. Ans focus on just leveling up the hammer.
