Damon Albarn (pronunciado /ˈdeɪmən_ˈælbɑrn/; Londres, Inglaterra, 23 de marzo de 1968) es un músico, cantante, compositor y productor de discos británico, líder y letrista principal de Blur y como cofundador, vocalista principal, instrumentista y compositor principal de Gorillaz, Blur y de The Good, the Bad and the Queen.
Albarn was interested in music from an early age, attending an Osmonds concert at the age of six. He started playing guitar, piano and violin in his youth and was interested in composing music, one of his compositions winning a heat in the nationwide Young Composer of the Year competition.

Arriving in Colchester, Essex in the late '70s, the young Damon began studying music (the piano) and drama. He met Graham Coxon, guitar genius in Stanway Comprehensive School and they formed a group named 'Seymour' later changed to 'Blur', perhaps one of the greatest modern rock groups these days.
