Dev Patel (Harrow, Londres, Inglaterra; 23 de abril de 1990) [1] es un actor británico de ascendencia india. Protagonizó Slumdog Millionaire (2008), fue parte del elenco de Skins ( E4 ), The Last Airbender , El exótico hotel Marigold (2012) y de la serie The Newsroom ( HBO ).
In 2006, Patel started his acting career when he auditioned for the E4 teen drama television series Skins. In 2008, He got a breakthrough in his starring movie Slumdog Millionaire in which he portrayed a role of Jamal Malik.
