Colonels Smoking Gun (Gunner), a National Reining Horse Association Hall of Fame inductee, was the NRHA Futurity Reserve Champion in 1996, and tied for Reserve at the NRBC in 1998. He also went on to win the USET Reining Championship in 2001.
