I thought I’d close things out with me answering some questions, for once. I turned down all interviews this year—except for one.

He lives very far away, and we haven’t seen each other for years, but when he reached out to record a podcast, I conceded. It would be a relatively safe environment, I thought—a conversation with a friend.

Dagmar Studios is the creative studio of Helena Price. Helena first embraced photography as a toddler, starting on her parents’ disposable cameras. She documented her life through photos throughout her childhood, eventually traveling with bands nationally as a tour photographer.
