Kate Milens/Hayes, also known as The Chaser, is the main protagonist of Slender: The Eight Pages and a major antagonist in its 2013 sequel Slender: The Arrival. She is the childhood friend of Arrival protagonist Lauren, who went to Kate's house near Oakside Park to help her with moving out.
Her progress is hindered by the attack of a masked, hooded figure known as the Chaser (later revealed to be now savage Kate), who seems to have photophobia, can be hindered by Lauren's flashlight. The Slender Man also attempts to attack Lauren in the mine.
