With three harbours and a bridge connecting it to neighbour Donsö, it is the perfect, well-connected day trip from Gothenburg. The island of Styrsö is idyllic, transporting you to a holiday town the minute you step off the ferry.
Styrsö is located in the middle of the southern archipelago and around 1400 people inhabit the island. Here you can find a post office, shops, cafés, guesthouses and restaurants. There are plenty of places to swim, from child-friendly sandy beaches, to piers and flat cliffs.
