23 de jun. de 2024 · STOWE. This parish covers 3,045 acres, of which 501 are arable, 2,435 permanent grass, and 87 woods and plantations. (fn. 1) The soil is gravel and clay, and the subsoil various. Wheat, barley, beans and oats are the principal crops. The land reaches its highest level of 472 ft. above the ordnance datum in the north of the parish.
