Kraft Alexander Ernst Ludwig Georg Emich zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg trained as a forester and banker and took over the family estate at the age of 25 after the sudden death of his father. After the castle fire, he managed the reconstruction from 1963 to 1966 and founded the German Car Museum in 1970.

Kraft, prince zu Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen (born Jan. 2, 1827, Koschentin, Prussian Upper Silesia—died Jan. 16, 1892, Dresden, Ger.) was a Prussian army officer and military writer. The son of Adolf, Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen, he joined the Prussian Guard Artillery in 1845.

In the 13th century, it became the ancestral seat of the important House of Hohenlohe, which was raised to the rank of imperial count in 1450 and prince in the middle of the 18th century.
