Dybbøl is a small town with a population of 2,356 (1 January 2023) in the southeastern corner of South Jutland, Denmark. It is located around 6 km (3.7 mi) west of Sønderborg. It is mainly known for being the site of a famous last stand battle in 1864.

Dybbøl Sogn ist eine Kirchspielsgemeinde auf der Halbinsel Sundeved in Nordschleswig im südlichen Dänemark.
La batalla de Dybbøl es considerada normalmente como la más importante de la guerra, ya que decidió el destino de ésta. El 30 de octubre de 1864 se firmó la paz. Dybbøl Mill is one of Denmark's most important national symbols. During the war of 1864, it became the symbol of the bravery of the Danish soldiers on the battlefield, and in the period 1864-1920 the symbol of the struggle of the Danish-minded southern Jutlanders under German rule.
