Personal life. Douglas met fellow actor Kenneth More on the set of Some People in Bristol in 1962. After starting an affair, More divorced his wife, and the couple were married on 17 March 1968 until his death on 12 July 1982.
They were introduced to each other at a dinner party held by actress Marsha Hunt. In 2009 they married on her birthday in City Hall in New York, with agent Douglas Rae and actress Sally Ann Howes as their witnesses. In 2018, Angela's first novel was published: JOSEPHINE: AN OPEN BOOK.
