Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo (12 December 1851 – 15 March 1942) was a progressive English architect and designer, who influenced the Arts and Crafts Movement, notably through the Century Guild of Artists, which he set up in partnership with Herbert Horne in 1882.

Arquitecto y diseñador, nacido en Londres, Arthur H. Mackmurdo comienza su carrera en el taller del arquitecto James Brooks. Muy pronto, asiste a conferencias de John Ruskin, escritor y teórico, y su encuentro pasará a ser decisivo.

Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo was an English architect, designer, and a pioneer of the English Arts and Crafts movement. After studying at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford, and traveling with John Ruskin to Italy, Mackmurdo set up practice in London.
