Tokyo Joe is a 1949 American film noir crime film directed by Stuart Heisler and starring Humphrey Bogart. This was Heisler's first of two features starring Bogart, the other was Chain Lightning that also wrapped in 1949 but was held up in release until 1950.

Synopsis. Joe Barrett arrives in Tokyo after the war, intending to re-open his club, Tokyo Joe's. Although it is illegal to operate a gambling club in American-occupied Japan, Joe makes a trip to the off-limits club, which is currently managed by his Japanese partner, Ito.
