Alice Ripley (born December 14, 1963) is an American actress, singer, songwriter and mixed media artist. She is known, in particular, for her various roles on Broadway in musicals, including the Pulitzer Prize -winning Next to Normal (2009 Tony Award , Best Actress in a Musical ) and Side Show .
Ripley is known for her extensive work on Broadway, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning rock opera, Next to Normal, for which she earned the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She is also known for her work in television (#Girlboss; Outed) and film (Sugar!, for which she won three acting awards in 2016).
