Gatcombe Park is a country house between the villages of Minchinhampton (to which it belongs) and Avening in Gloucestershire, England. Originally constructed in the 1770s, it was rebuilt from 1820 by George Basevi for the economist David Ricardo .

Gatcombe Park, the country residence of the King's sister, Anne, Princess Royal, is 6 miles (9.7 km) away, between the villages of Minchinhampton and Avening. Gatcombe Park is a late-19th-century landscape park of around 14 hectares, with an adjacent lake and woodland. The estate hosts the Gatcombe Horse Trials in March and September each year. Terrain. The site lies on the slopes of a small valley which joins the valley of a branch of the River Frome.
